BL-2 Brass Chain links (flowery design)

BL-2 links are casting finished with flowery design. It is the same link used in BS-2 brass chain set.

These links are added to BS-2 chains to increase the length. Mostly it is required to install the ceiling swings if the ceiling height is more than 7′. Length of each link is 5″ and increases the chain length by 4.5″.

This item is sold as a set of 4 links. 1 set increases the chain length by 4.5″. Quantity of sets to be ordered depends on the ceiling height. As a general rule, the seat should be 2′ above the floor.

Buying Guidelines

This item is available as a set of 4 links. 1 set increases the chain length by 4.5″. Quantity of sets to be ordered depends on the ceiling height. As a general rule, the seat should be 2′ above the floor. Hence if your ceiling is 7′ high, the chain length required is 5′ which is included in the BS-2 set, there is no need to order additional links. If the ceiling is higher than 7′ you may need to order additional links. For each additional 4.5″ ceiling height, it needs to order 1 set of loose links. That means for 8′ ceiling, it needs to order 3 sets.

Below are the quantity needed to order if ceiling is higher than 7′

8′ ceiling – 3 sets (12 links)
9′ ceiling – 6 sets (24 links)
10′ ceiling – 8 sets (32 links)
11′ ceiling – 11 sets (48 links) As an option customer can take chance to order 10 sets and add 1 set later if needed. 10 sets will increase length by 45″.
12′ ceiling – 13 sets

If the ceiling is higher than 12′, it is cheaper to buy whole chain set BS-2 instead of just the links. Customers can return the hooks and get refund.

General Information

  1. Shipping charge shown above is for delivery to zone 1, which includes the states of east coast of  USA. There is additional 20% shipping for zone 2 and 25% for zone 3. Please click on information sign on shipping cost to know zone states.
  2. There are no taxes for delivery in USA except New York. New York Taxes will be applicable as per the sales tax rates of county. Taxes in Canada will as per the rates prevailing in the province.
  3. There is no customs duty for deliveries in the US and Canada. However there is service fee for delivery in Canada.
  4. Delivery for in-stock items may take 5 – 15 days depending on location.
  5. For customized items, delivery may take 3 – 6 months depending on the arrival of our next import shipment. For such orders, 40% advance payment is need along with order and the balance can be paid when the order is ready to ship.
  6. All our products are under warranty for 6 months. The products, once shipped cannot be returned. However for any technical issues or damage, it is our responsibility to resolve it.
